The Lunch Angel Program (LAP)

Serving Students of Zionsville Community Schools - Zionsville, Indiana

Have you ever been unable to concentrate because you were hungry?  Did you know there are students in Zionsville who are not able to purchase a lunch and/or extra items while at school?

LAP is an organization which has been created to address this need.  The vision of LAP is to provide these students with an equal opportunity to purchase the equivalent of a school lunch, plus additional items, on a daily basis.  Students also have the option of purchasing food during breakfast and/or after school, where offered.  LAP is designed to work in conjunction with the existing meal assistance program offered by the ZCS Cafeterias.  ZCS Cafeterias provide a variety of better choices to help students satisfy their daily nutritional needs.

It takes approximately $250 to sponsor one student per semester.  Over 200 potential LAP recipients have already been confidentially identified.  Please consider helping a student this semester with your gift.
